Welcome to Lavender & Vervain! I am so glad you're here!
As mothers and consumers in a world full of disposable and toxic items, we sought out a solution to diaper our littles, leading us to cloth diapers. Like many others, we have experienced the struggles of leaking diapers, bulky fits, and uncomfortable material. Over the course of time and trialing various products on the market, we decided to start putting together our own line of cloth diapers. After 2 years of research on designs and functionality, Lavender & Vervain was born.
Our vision for L&V is to provide eco friendly, high quality products that will be gentle, stylish, and comfortable on your baby and wallet. We hope you enjoy our unique prints, many being exclusive to L&V!
CERTIFICATIONS:
The health and safety of your children is top priority for Lavender & Vervain, as many mamas and daddies choose to cloth diaper to avoid toxic materials found in disposable diapers. As many toxins can be harmful to one's health through breathing and skin contact, the materials used in our diapers undergo rigorous testing every year to ensure the safety of the product.
The main testing our products meet is Standard 100 by OKEO-TEX, which tests every part of the product, including but not limited to the fabric, thread and all accessories against up to 350 toxic chemicals.
Another certification our products meet is CPSIA, which ensures our products do not contain lead, BPA, or phthalates.
Many of the testings our products go through are voluntary by the manufacturer to show the quality and safety of our products. So, you can be confident in your choice to cloth diaper your little one and reduce the toxins your babe is exposed to on a daily basis.
